Kedu! (That’s ‘Howdy!’ for my Texan friends who don’t speak Igbo.) The Rev. Fr. John Ugobueze and The Catholic League for the Poor of Nigeria, Inc. would like to invite you to join fellow Catholics with a love for Nigeria at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 for a beautiful, joy-filled dinner event that will leave a heartwarming and lasting impression on all who attend. That is because this first annual gala will help fund the capital campaign to build the League Medical and Mental Health Hospital, a Western model 130-bed hospital that will provide much-needed, currently unavailable, quality medical care for the poor in Nigeria. Our emcee for the evening will be Guadalupe Radio Network’s Tim Motte, Senior Production Manager at KSHJ 1430 AM.
